Gorgonzola
and
Pear Pizza

your grocery store
- 4 ounces Provolone cheese, grated or thinly
sliced.
- 1 Bosc pear, sliced thinly
- 2 ounces Walnuts, chopped
- 2 1/2 ounces Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
- Heat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees
C).
- Place pizza crust dough on a medium baking sheet.
Add the sliced or grated Provolone cheese. Top the cheese
with the Bosc Pear, sliced thinly. Add the walnuts and
crumbled Gorgonzola.
- Bake in the preheated oven 8 to 10 minutes, or
until cheese is melted and crust is lightly browned. Remove
from heat. Top with chives and slice to
serve.
Yum!! You can try a somewhat
sweet wine with this. This recipe may be more suited
for a more adult connoiseur. (Get a Papa Johns for the
kids!)
